Mitsubishi Poland (MMC Car Poland Sp. z o.o.) is the exclusive distributor of the Japanese brand Mitsubishi in Poland. It currently owns 42 authorized Mitsubishi service stations in the country. The company offers standard cars, off-road and commercial vehicles. The brand hires 1000 employees that make sure it is associated with the reliability of cars and high-quality of customer service.
Tasks and objectives
The implemented system Edito CMS 4.0 version gives the client the full control over content management. It ensures the automatic real-time synchronization of information to all dealer stations websites which increases the effectiveness of their cooperation (i.e. by reviewing the pages of available cars in Mitsubishi network). It prevents the mistakes of manual data entry and allows you to save a lot of time.
The main objective of the project was to revive the website and implement high-performance technology that enables cooperation and integration with other external systems.
One of the most important features of this system is the possibility to download and update data that exist in client’s external ERP system. The mechanism imports and exports XML files with a defined structure and content. It collects all available information about the Mitsubishi’s offer in one place.
Another of the key stages of implementation is equipping the website with an intuitive online configurator. It quickly allows users to adapt the car model according to their requirements. They can choose car parameters such as the engine power, type of drive, color, interior and details. During the configuration of the car model, the preview of applied changes is available in a 360° mode.
