Italian Fashion is a family company based in Poland. For over 20 years they have been sewing and offering high-quality lingerie. Their target groups are women, men, and children. Besides the lingerie line, they design home wear and other accessories. All products are comfortable, designed with utmost care and attention to detail. Also, they match current fashion trends. Customers, all over the world, value the company for professionalism, top-quality, and a wide product offer.
Tasks and objectives
In response to the Customer’s needs, we have designed the italianfashion.pl. It is a complex online store available in two language versions: Polish and English. We have built it in Magento Open Source, which guarantees the store is stable and flexible.
Italian Fashion has an extensive product offer, where each item has over 70 attributes. To manage them better, we have created an automatic mechanism for assigning products to their relevant categories. By integration with the SAP ERP, combined with the mechanisms (mentioned above), we made make sure that any platform users can manage the entire product catalog fast and effectively. To make it possible, we enabled such features as:
- adding and updating the product offer in Magento,
- cyclic updates for stock levels, prices with a strict product availability check in SAP (before the customer confirms the order),
- orders’ transfer from Magento to SAP with constant updates on status changes.
- sending invoices from SAP to Magento.
Magento/SAP ERP integration keeps up-to-date information about product stock levels and orders.
We designed the attractive layout for the storefront, all store pages, and other elements (e.g. product banner models). They display in the drop-down menu and present popular products to customers very well. Apart from introducing the online catalog display module, users can browse for collections in a very convenient and simple way.
The one-step shopping cart feature is something perfect for clients. Because the purchasing process takes place on a single page. Clients can view all order information at once, i.e., summary, without going back and forth. Also, the store offers various payment methods and delivery options. To make that happen, we integrated the store with the following service providers and carriers:
- Card payment
- Poczta Polska
We have created a complex discount system with various promotion types. For example, 3 products for the price of 2, or the option to use loyalty cards during shopping. Also, buyers can combine several discount codes provided we as administrators enable such an option in the store panel.
We also introduced several bespoke solutions - one being, the Order modification module. It enables users to change confirmed orders, returns, and complaints modules. All, we integrated with the SAP system automatically sends corrected invoices to buyers.
For marketing purposes and providing efficient customer service, we included (via integration) the following platforms:
- Sales Mango,
- Zendesk (live chat),
- Facebook Ads,
- Google Analytics and Google Ads.
